This program allows you to convert documents from one format to another in a very easy way. In fact, it is a virtual printer that is embedded in your different document-managing programs, such as Adobe Acrobat, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and so on. The installation wizard installs a toolbar into these programs, so you can export your documents easily using it.
The main interface of the program features a quick tutorial on how to use the application. To convert a document, you need to follow four easy steps. First, open the file you want to export and go to the Print menu. You need to choose Universal Document Converter as your default printer. Second, you can adjust the program's properties by clicking on the corresponding button. Third, the program will open its Properties menu, where you can choose the output format among the eight formats supported (BMP, JPEG, PNG,TIFF, PDF, and more), as well as to adjust other features, such as the output location, and whether to add a watermark or not. Finally, click on Print, and the program will open a dialog box where you need to write the file name and choose the output location (in case you haven't done that in the Properties menu). When you click OK, the program will start converting the document. In general, it works fast, but the time required to convert a document will depend on the output format you choose and on the length of the document.
The trial version adds a stamp to the converted files. If you want to get rid of this limitation, you will need to purchase a license.
